JEE Main 2017 will be conducted for the admission of the candidates in the engineering courses. The JEE or Joint Entrance Examination is conducted in two phases, i.e., JEE Mains and the JEE Advanced. The candidates those who want to take admission in IITs and ISM will have to qualify the JEE Advanced exam as well. JEE Main 2017 Important Dates & Events:
The official notification for the exam will be released in the month of November 2016. The application form for the exam will be available from December 2016. The last date to submit the application form will be in January 2017. The admit card for the candidates will be available in the month of March 2017. The offline JEE Main 2017 will be conducted on 2 April 2017 and the online in the second week of April 2017. The result will be declared on 27 April 2017.
The candidates those who want to appear in the exam will have to make sure that they are eligible as well. Without being eligible, their application will not be accepted. The conditions that must be satisfied by the candidates in order to be eligible for JEE Main are provided below:
- The candidates must have born on or after 1 October 1992. Reserved category candidate must have born on or after1 October 1987.
- The candidates must have passed class XII from a recognized board. They must have also secured at least 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
- They must have studied at least 5 subjects in class XII.
- The diploma holder (3 years) candidates can apply as well.
