Union Public Service Commission will be declaring the IAS Result 2016 on their official website. The candidates those who have appeared in the exam will be able to check their result on the official website. The result for the prelim exam will be released on 7 September 2016 and for the main exam is expected to be released on 3 December 2016. The IAS Result will not be available via any offline mode. The candidates will have to visit the official website of the UPSC. Below we have provided the steps that will help the candidates in checking their result.

After downloading the result pdf, the candidates will have to check their roll number in the list.

The candidates will be called for the interview round on the basis of their marks in the civil service exam. The interview round will be of 275 marks and the marks scored by the candidates in the interview round will be added to the final merit list. Document verification of the candidates will also be done on the interview date. During the verification round, if the candidate's details are found incorrect, then they will be rejected straight away.
