IAS Result 2016 to be announced on 20 March 2017

Union Public Service Commission will be declaring the IAS Result 2016 on their official website. The candidates those who have appeared in the exam will be able to check their result on the official website. The result for the prelim exam will be released on 7 September 2016 and for the main exam is expected to be released on 3 December 2016. The candidates those who qualify the written exam will be called for the interview round. All the other details for the result have been below in the article.

IAS Result 2016:

The IAS Result will not be available via any offline mode. The candidates will have to visit the official website of the UPSC. Below we have provided the steps that will help the candidates in checking their result.

After downloading the result pdf, the candidates will have to check their roll number in the list.

They are advised to take a print out of their IAS Result 2016.

 The final UPSC Civil Services Result will be declared on 20 March 2017.

The candidates will be called for the interview round on the basis of their marks in the civil service exam. The interview round will be of 275 marks and the marks scored by the candidates in the interview round will be added to the final merit list. Document verification of the candidates will also be done on the interview date. During the verification round, if the candidate's details are found incorrect, then they will be rejected straight away.

IAS Result 2016 Complete Details

IAS Result 2016 will be announced by The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on its official website. It is expected that the IAS Prelims Result 2016 will be announced on 07 September 2016. The UPSC Civil Services Prelim Examination 2016 was held on 07 August 2016.

The IAS 2016 Result will be announced in a PDF format wherein candidate’s roll number will be mentioned. Candidates whose roll number will be mentioned in the IAS Prelims Result 2016 will be able to appear in the Civil Services Main Exam 2016, to be held in November 2016.

UPSC IAS Result for Main Exam will be announced in February 2017 whereas the personal interview for the shortlisted candidates will be conducted by UPSC in the month of March- April 2017. Final IAS Result 2016 will be announced in the month of May 2017.
